SPJARA's Policy on Planning Matters

Formal comment will only be made where it is judged, after consultation with both the applicant and the neighbours most directly affected, that a proposal 
  1. would have a damaging affect on the general amenity of the area
  2. would have a serious adverse impact on neighbours
  3. would set a damaging precedent which others might follow
  4. could be improved so as to meet higher environmental standards or secure improvements in the local environment.

Each formal submission will be subject to prior approval by the Committee; and, once made, will be reported on this website.
